We use standard Joomla SEF.

Names of most of songs and artists in my site are in UTF (with accent).
When mapped to URL, any letter with accent will be dropped. Ideally it should ignore the accent and use just the letter, eg in

http://cuongde.org/index.php/nhac-vang/l/21-le-uyen-phng/23-khi-loai-thu-xa-nhau/220-vng-ly-ca-chung-ta.html

- artist is 21-le-uyen-phng, it should be 21-le-uyen-phuong
- song is 220-vng-ly-ca-chung-ta, should be 220-vung-lay-cua-chung-ta
- I manage to use Subtitle in album to get the album name right, ie 23-khi-loai-thu-xa-nhau
