I haven't tested it yet but in theory the version for Joomla 1.7 should work just fine for 2.5, the API does not change much, it's a minor uprgade actually.

Hi there is a bug in Component under joomla 2.5

I can't delete album. I'm selecting an album to delete but when i press Delete popup shows "Please first make a selection from the list"

joomla 2.5 is not yet officially supported because 2.5 is not yet an stable version!

Looks like joomla 2.5 is now out of beta and now on rc1. They have the production live version set to release here in 2 days.

I was testing 2.5 beta when i bought your component.
The difference between 1.7 and 2.5 are not that much so i tried.
And it works, problem was only with that one thing.

I've got one more question.
How Random albums carousel module detects height?
Cause when i have name, title, rating and bluray cover it doesn't fit.

know that I'm working on this, but FYI, this particular problem seems to be a bug in Joomla 2.5 (it happens with a lot of other components). check this out: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2728697

a lot of people reporting the same issue on different components.

@Gregorius did you find any other problems with MC and Joomla 2.5? this seems to be the only problem...

Everything else seams to work just fine with the component.

Can you refer to my other question about height in random albums module?

Hi Germi.. in the same post of the Joomla forum there is a solution now, can you see? I don't undestand.

Interesting. Looks like there also might be a temporary solution available until germi can fix MC. Check out http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=625&t=691865 install that plugin. Clear out the joomla cache as well as your browser cache and it they claim it should work.

I haven't had a chance yet to update my test site to 2.5, as I am working on getting a few other bugs resolved first. So i can't confirm yet if this works.

id="adminForm"

with

name="adminForm"

in the admin form?

yes apparently this solves the problem.
so we updated music collection. the version 2.2.2 is now compatible with Joomla 2.5!

In the 2.2.2 version the only change is to add

id="adminForm"

Or there is other changes.

Can you do an update package with only the changed files from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2?

yes that's the only change basically. you can just download, unzip and copy the files manually if you want.
