When I install the component a blank white page appears and when I go to my components page the component has not installed. Any ideas?

    hello Mike

yes, probably thats because you have your PHP variable "max_execution_time" set to 30 or less (try to change it to 60)

    best,

Where is that at? Is it the php.ini file?

Also, I had multiple parsing errors and Im about to seek refund because I downloaded it again thinking there might have been something wrong with the first download and I think it charged me again.

    Thanks For Your Time

    hello Mike,

yes, on the php.ini file you can specify this variable

by the way, you can see the current value of it on your joomla administration area -> help -> system info -> php info

I already answered you on the mail: no need to worry about the XML parsing errors. that's a joomla small bug. the modules install fine even if this report appears :)

I checked the "max execution time" and it is set to "120" Do you have an idea of what else might be the issue?

    Thank you

mmm... maybe is the maximum memory a script can consume.

if you want, send me an admin username and password to joomlamusicsolutions@gmail.com and I'll try to install the component myself... :)

Also, I have two sites on different servers and neither are able to upload the component. both have enough time for the script to run.

I increased the memory limit to well over what it needs and it errors with "The script had an error or it did not produce any output." I did everything you told me and still no progress.

    Thanks

    mm... really dont understand.

can you try to install from directory?

upload the file (com_muscol.zip) fy ftp to the temporary folder, and then choose the option "install from directory" on the installer
