Edit Music Collection files but not have them overwritten?

Hi,

Is there any way I can edit Music Collection files but not have them overwritten the next time the developers come out with an upgrade?

this is the normal way of editing view files through joomla templates.

inside your /templates folder, inside your template

you can have a /html folder for re-writing views.

but, again, this will allow you to edit only a SMALL part.. (the "subviews" like albums, are not rendered using this method..)

    not really..

    you can override some VIEW files using the template system, but that's a very small portion...
