Default Character Encoding

Hi,

I've noticed that the default character encoding in Firefox 3.53 is incorrect and needs to be set to ISO-8859-1.

Is there a way to do this so that you don't have to manually set it from the Firefox View menu each time you enter the site.

The reason for this is that the £ symbol is not displayed properly until this is changed.

Neil.

I dont know. but here's another idea. it there an HTML character for the pounds symbol? (there is for the euro, its & e u r o ; (without the blank spaces of course)

if you use an HTML character you wont have to worry about encodings
