Germi ,

Is it possible that we can make the Recently Added module with sliding images of albums?

you mean a "javascript" effect to make the albums "rotate" ?

well, this is not included, but if you know some javascript this is really easy to do. I mean, all you have to do is change the template that displays the albums of that module and make it be some javascript rotating effect or whatever

    do you know JS?

or, if you see in some site a "rotating" effect that you like but you're not developer, tell me and I'll try to add it into the module (I think this is a interesting option! :) )

HI germi I am not a developer , What I think is the module "Recently Added" can be incorporated with Sliding effect sort of moving the albums with pictures up and down or if we can add the functionality or changing the module display option , Like if I want to display "Recently Added" in horizontal way .

And One more thing , It would be a advantage if we can email the song of our choice to anyone we like .

    hello shail

believe it or not, I spent ALL yesterday's afternoon searching the web for cool sliding javascript effects, to include them into the modules! :) (I really liked your idea). I found some interesting thinks, but now I have to clen up the code to adapt it to MC.

anyway, the point is that this feature is on the way! (while take a little time, but it's on the way ;) )

about emailing songs.... I'll think about it :)

    Germi ,

Thank you very much including the javascript thing inplace,
and regarding the emailing the song this - its just a way to promote your page or website , by email function we will send the link of that particular page where that song is , thats it ,not the file .

I hope you like this idea.

    hello shail

you must associate the file (mp3) to a MusicCollection song

on the backend, enter no the album that will contain that song. there's a tab called SONGS. click there and you'll see a "ADD SONG" button

add a song (or as many songs as you want). Once created, there will appear a button next to each song, called "EDIT". click on that button, and you'll enter the song form, where you can add details as lyrics, artist, and of course, the file of the song.

you can upload the file directly using this form, or if you already uploaded the file you just have to write the name of the file.

CAREFUL: the filename should not include blank spaces.. :)
