So many issues with Music Collection - (just posted a slew) - don't know if those are affecting Joomla or if this issue with Joomla is affecting Music Collection's functionality or ?
My host indicates I have upgraded to 7.4 and that is what is running. Yet when I change to 7.4 in the root and administrator files as the Joomla error message instructs - I am then locked out of logging into to my backend admin control panel.
Have posted on Joomla forum - but wondering if anyone else using Music Collection is having the same issue?
Please see screenshot.

0Hi Bhati,
I was reading most of your postings here, but tbh most off them I don't understand...?
But if I am correct you did have a working site running with MusCol in the near past.
So my first question is; what did you do (or Install) before things got messy, and second did you backup things?
Try uninstall what you did before things went wrong
If you have a back up I suggest to put it back so you have a running site again and install a test version to mes with in a sub-directory so we can try to help you out..
The msg about the php 7.4 version is (I think) just a warning that you should upgrade to a newer version before Nov. 2022
is what I get in AdmintoolsYour site is currently using PHP 7.4.27. This version of PHP has entered its “Security maintenance” phase since Sunday, 28 November 2021 and has stopped receiving bug fixes. It will stop receiving security updates on Monday, 28 November 2022 at which point it will be unsuitable for use on a live site.
NOTE MusCol is not yet compatible with PHP 8, but Germinal is working on a new version that does.

0Regarding Joomla - It doesn't make any sense. The piece you found states 7.4 is no longer receiving bug fixes - maybe this error message is a bug and will go away with the new version - who knows.
Regarding Music Collection - not sure what you don't understand - you can see each of the issues in the screenshots or see each of these issues live.
Do you think all of these issues are related to Bootstrap?
The site template I am using is "Favourite."
The last time I updated I started losing functionality (for instance, all of my playlists disappeared immediately) which has only gotten worse and worse.
Thank you, Appie, for any help you can provide. -

You mean the last Joomla update?
If yes did you backup before install, again if yes I suggests put the backup back and see what happens..
Otherwise reinstall the last joomla again manually, maybe something went wrong with the install itself.
All ready tried to reinstall MusCol?
And MAKE SURE the MusCol system plugin is at the last position..
