I only need to use the Album for to create new records as this contains almost all the fields I need to create the album, add the artist and also the song.

When I create my new album, I need to add a new artist so I click on the add new artist link, and add a new artist name. Then I populate the rest of the fields and save. When I view the newly created album, it hasn't actually saved the newly created artist to the new album (it has saved it to the database). I tried to go in via front screen edit to try and select my artist I created and set it for the album but it doesn't save the changes. The only way I can save the new artist is to go into the Joomla Administrator area and add it there (which my user will not have access to). When I select the correct Artist there, it saves it as it should.

Finally, is it possible to also be able to add the Artist's address fields in this form? I see they are collected in the Artist's form, but not in the Album form under the add Artist bit - it makes sense to have this here too as currently they would have to go open a separate form to add these details even thogh they have jst added the artists name. I am just trying to make the new upload process as simple as possible for my users, and also looking to integrate a map tool that required the location fields to work.
