I am interested in having a music component that can play my mp3 files, but also having the ability to have a "buy" link that would send the user to iTunes to make a purchase.
Does your component have this capability, and if so, can you provide a link to show this buy link being used in your component?

Yes, there's an option in Music Collection for a "buy link" that you can use to direct the user to iTunes.
Just to show you an example, I added a demo link on this album in our demo: http://demo.joomlathat.com/index.php/music-collection/o/141-oasis/883-be-here-now
(notice the first song has the buy option)
