Add New artist link not working

clinckingon add new artist i get no response. I found previous post and tried the following:

"ok I found the issue, it's just a little javascript failure. can you open the file /components/com_muscol/assets/validate.js
and simply delete its content? "

Still cant add artists. Parameters are set corrently.

    which version are you using?
    You would need an active subscription if you need me to go into your website and take a look and see what could possible be wrong.
    At the moment it seems like you don't have an active subscription, is that correct?

    wow in that case Im not going to pay you to fix it, especially since im not the only guy having the problem here. Ill either wait until you guys come out with a new version or continue to hack this one to suit my needs.

    hi,

    it's not that you need to pay us to fix it, it's just that to have access to tech support you need an active subscription.

    it's for sure not an issue native of the extension (your last subscription is from 5 january 2013... I'm asuming you haven't been using it for 1 year and a half without this working!! )
    probably you just did some installation of some other thing or a change on the server or whatever, and now you seem to have an issue. just think of this: when did the issue started? was it after you installed something, changed some configuration, etc..? if the answer is "yes", then that must be the cause for the failure.

      additionally, you did not answer my only question, which was "which version are you using", which could point me to the right direction.
