2 Muscol installations/instances

Good day!

I was wondering if it is possible to make 2 instances of Muscol, each one to have it's own function. One i need to display as a catalogue for our music and the other one i want to turn it into a catalogue where users can upload their stuff. I don't see any other way to separate these 2 using the same installation. Any other ideas? Thank you

No.. it's not possible out of the box, this would require Custom Coding Work.

    hello,

    it's not possible to have 2 instances of the same component in the same Joomla installation.. Joomla simply does not allow it.

    Ok, in that case, is it possible to separate our own albums and artists from user's submissions? As well for displaying them separately using the same component?

    What we want to achieve is to have a catalogue where people can listen and purchase albums and the other one to be used as a contest for users who submitt their songs.
