What is the best way to use proforma invoices with Invoice Manager?

I am running a company that needs to use proforma invoices. What is the best way to manage that? Are what you call QUOTES something that can be used as proforma or there is another way to do that? thanks.

yes, I think what you call a "proforma invoice" is what we call the "quote". it's like a pre-invoice.
it's like an invoice, but it does not really have the status or validity of a real invoice.
