Hi I was reviewing your JInvoices product and have a couple questions.
1. I see you have a paypal plugin available for the end user but there doesn't appear to be anything on the admin side for payment processing.
Is it possible to support further integration with paypal for payment processing (like with paypal pro) so that payments can be processed by admins at the time an invoice is created or for any pending invoices? (ie to support phone/fax in orders or retail orders) Or are there other plugins/components that exist already for payment processing which JInvoice does/can integrate with?
2. Is it possible to generate reports of payments or credits over a user defined period of time?

0hello,
1. we currently don't have such an option, sorry. the PayPal plugin we have is "standard" PayPal payments for the frontend...
although you can always set a payment to "paid" or whatever on the backend, as an admin. I mean, if you process your client's payment somehow else, you can just mark the payment as "processed" if you know what I mean
2. when you say "report" you mean some kind of export function? -

01. Yes, but part of the reason for using joomla as a platform with a product like JInvoices is to create efficient business processes by having admin and customer functions in one place - this eliminates a lot of extra manual work. Otherwise, why bother? Just get specialized stand alone software that does all the different things you need, right?
2. Yeah basically but in some kind of readable format, like a chart, spreadsheet, etc. This way you can see the business you have booked (ie revenues) over whatever period of time you want to look at (day/week/month/year/whatever). Very useful for assessing the health of one's business and also come tax time. -

01. well, I guess that would be an option.. but for now we only have frontend PayPal payments for customers, that's it...
2. of course. well, there's not an "export" function but actually the backend invoices/payments page has a lot of filters (date range, invoice status...) that you can use to see balances and such... you can know how much you made in a particular month, etc (because there's an addition at the end of each numeric row that tells you the totals, etc).
an export function (to Excell or whatever) could of course be build with custom coding.
besides of that, we are working in a Content Statistics integration that will allow graphic reports of the payments/invoices (Content Statistics is a different extension, sold separately, to make graphic reports). actually you can see it working side by side with our other extension, Expense Manager, here: http://www.joomlafinances.com/expense-manager-demo?view=items
