Hi, i noticed that you add the canadian tax system. Now i propose to add an improvement to IM to manage also the Italian tax system.
Here an example of Italian invoice, please notice the professional tax to detract:
Service cost € 1.000,00
Local tax 4% € 40,00
SubTotal € 1.040,00
VAT 22% (22% of € 1.040) € 228,80
SubTotal € 1.268,80
-Professional TAX (20% of € 1.000) – € 200,00 (this is a tax to detract). Sometimes this tax must be calculated to a % of an amount. For example 20% on 50% of € 1.000,00. So it's better introduce the feature to consider a percentage of subtotal to calculate for that tax.
Total € 1.068,80 ( € 1.268,80 - € 200,00)

0Waiting to your reply about this suggestions i hope you add strongly the front end version of this great component so allowed user only can manage invoice on front end.
Also i hope you add the "preset" feature where merchant can create more of them and choose one of them like default. Merchant must named the preset too. In the preset he choose the tax system to apply on the invoice, for example tax on group 1 with the percentage, tax on group 2 with the percentage and the Italian tax as i told you above. In this way when merchant create invoice the component calculate it by using the default preset but obviously he can set another always. This is very useful when merchant calculate often the invoice with the same taxes and rules. Supposing merchant create the preset "Italian taxes" where he add VAT at 21% on group 1, local tax at 4% on group 2 and professional TAX at 20% as i suggested you above. When he creates quote or invoice component simply propose and calculate them with this preset. Very fast and powerful.
Best regards -
