Is partial payment supported? If I bill a client a certain amount, can they make a partial payment and pay the balance in a future date?

0Hello Jeffrey,
Yes, partial payments are supported.
If you want to test the component and see it's potencial you can do it in our demo page: http://demo.joomlathat.com/
You can login to the backend with user:demoadmin pass:demoadmin to test Invoice Manager and the other components

0Hi,
Thanks for your prompt responses. Are you saying the site owner/administrator has to be the one to divide the invoice into multiple payments? I am also not clear to what you mean by "But it has to be you who creates the payments with the amount you want in them." I need to understand how this flow looks like from the customer perspective. My expectation is for it to be like this:
Owner: Creates invoice #123 in the amount of $120.00 due by 12/31/2016 for customer Rob
Rob: Logs into the website, sees the invoice #123, and makes a payment of $60.00 on 3/24/2016 (leaving a balance of $60 due)
Rob: On 5/1/2016, logs into the website, accesses invoice #123 and makes a payment of $30 (leaving a balance of $30 due)
Rob: On 11/1/2016, logs into the website, accesses invoice #123 and makes a final payment of $30 (leaving a $0 balance)
Please clarify my expectation.
Thanks,

0Hello,
No, it doesn't work like this. Yes, I meant that the owner/administrator has to divide the invoice into multiple payment.
the owner in this would be the one making the decision of splitting the invoice into 3 payments:
Owner: creates invoice for amount of $120.00 and creates 3 payment instances, inside this invoice, one for $60, the other for $30 and the other for $30
Rob: logs in, pays payment 1 (60)
Rob: logs in pays payment 2
--then 3.
and that's it.
if you want ROB to be the one deciding how he splits the invoice into multiple payments, then this would require some custom coding work to be done on Invoice Manager, as this is not possible out of the box. -
