Hi Germinal,
In my IM installation, I don't seem to have a functional Search field. When I enter the SKU or a word, there's no visible results filtering appearing on my screen and everything looks the same as before the search.
Also, it would be great to have some kind of way to set the amount of lines that is being displayed as in J!3 is used: 10, 20 100, all.
It is a pain to find the right page with the product details that you want to change (especially with the search not working ;o).
I would not mind to have everything displayed on one page, sort on the SKU field and scroll down to the section I'm looking for. It would be quite convenient to work that way.
And while I'm at it: a way to export the product catalog would be the cherry on top !
P.S. Obviously - the non operational Search is the problem I'm reporting - the other ones are nice-to-haves...
cheers,
Mario

Hi Germinal,
No problem - that's why I thought to double-check.
None of the fields are being searched: When I enter a SKU or pieces of the name/description no results are returned in the form of a filtered page.
There's a short flashing of the screen as if it is being rebuild, but the result is the same as the initial page.
You probably now catch why I initially suggested to introduce a "Show all products" option on that page as that would have given me an alternative to find what I'm after And I would have been able to use CTRL+F to do a plain text search in the browser window.
Now it manually browsing the pages ;o)
Thanks,
Mario

0By the way - when submitting the tags, I saw a tag stating "Search not working" so I figured someone else already opened a ticket for it.
I found the ticket with Search not working when SEF is on.
I tried this at my end and it makes no difference: with SEF URL's off, the search is still not showing any filtered results.
Just so you know.
P.S. I have re-enabled you access to my site - let me know if you would not have the details to connect any more. -

0Hi Germinal,
Thanks for your reply - just checking: I was talking about the products page (which does not contain invoice details), you too ?
Eg. I have a SKU numbering 1.01, 1.02,... 10.01.
When I want to update a specific product item, I thought I could enter 1.10 in the search window and have only that line displayed, or when I enter the Name, it would display all product items with the same name...
At this moment, I first have to sort the Products, by name or by SKU number and then find the page where the one(s) I'm looking for are located.
Since you are referring to invoice details, I'm feeling we might be talking about different things.
I'm including a screenshot below: in this example, I'm doing a search for product SKU 1.51.2 (which is on this page at the last line).
After hitting the Search button I would have expected the page to display only 1.51.2 on the screen. However, before and after the Search, the screen looks exactly the same (nothing happens). I'm not even sure whether in my IM installation this Search has any functionality in the Product Manager page.
Thanks,
Mario -
