Hey germinal..just some general questions...im trying to figure out the details on invoice manager and couldnt find much reference in the documentation...ive been testing its functions and just a few questions..thanks...

1..Procucts...i have no idea whats the purpose of this..i created 2 and i see no reference to products in the invoice or quotes area...what is this for and how do i use it?

2..taxes....ive created a tax item but when i go to create an invoice and select the tax item i created it does not prepopulate the tax item i created..i still have to do it manually....is this normal? if so what is the tax option for?

3..when i send quote to user via email...the title reads FIND_ATTATCHED_QUOTE 2018-2.........invoice email does not show underscores..is this normal and can i fix it/how?

4...when my user accepted the quote the administrator never received an email notification....is there no notice of a quote acceptance by the user sent to the admin? i have added my email in the global config..

5..Also when i set an invoice to paid..the admin or user never received a notification as paid....is there no payment notification sent to the admin and user?

6..If a user pays via paypal instead of me setting the payment as paid manually, will invoice manager automatically set that payment status to paid or do i still have to set it to paid manually?

7..is there no way to set global items...do they have to be created manually for each invoice?

8..inside of invoices edit/ payments option...i understand the due date ...but what exactly is the datetime option for?

9..if i set up recurring payments.....will my user get an email on the exact day the invoice is due again or prior to?

10...my bank transfer option displays no fields...or options to enter any details......and is hiding behind the paypal tab as displayed in the image attachment i uploaded and im having trouble resolving..could you offer advice as to how to resolve this? thanks

Sorry for all the questions..i would really like to understand this software as it seems so powerful once i get it going. thanks again

    hi,

    1. when you create an invoice and start typing in the "item" name field, products will be suggested to you, that's what they are for

    2. not sure what you mean... can you make a screenshot?

    3. probably this language string is missing from the language file. you can add it at /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_invoices.ini

    4. there's not, at the moment.

    5. no, that's just a status change, no emails are generated for those either.

    6. it is automatic, and in this case, yes, an email is generated.

    7. see point 1: Products.

    8. this is the datetime when the payment has been paid. it's populated automatically if the payment is made with paypal

    9. payments are not recurring, invoices are. yes, the user will get an email the moment the invoice is generated (if you have it configured that way)

    10. this looks like some CSS issue. could you send a link?

    Hey germinal...thanks all checks out and working well...i just have 2 minor css issues..i am going to send you the link and credentials via email....

    1....the one that i sent you first regarding the payment tabs overlapping

    2...and for somereason my tooltip is jumping all around when i hover over the (invoice date) and the (quote date) on the main my invoices page.... i can hide the tooltip but i cant seem to figure out how to get it to display in its correct place...
