Error: Error installing component

Hi!

I'm trying to update Invoice Manager but I get an error.

    looks like the first time you tried to install it created the DB correctly, but something else must failed, and now it is telling you that it cannot update the DB again.

    a way to solve this would be to go to the DB and remove that column (tax_id) and then reinstall.

    do you know how to do this?

    I have been able to fix it by uninstalling (backup, deleting database), and reinstalling.
