Add Budget Amount per Category Task

Would be great if you could create a total budget by category that you could monitor and see how close you are.

In reality, if you had a total amount to work from (a total budget) then you have your breakouts by category would make it easier to budget.

Your Expense System is so close.. to have the ability to track a budget and know how close you are to the budget for each category would be so so helpful.

    are you talking about a monthly budget? I mean, a budget only makes sense if it has a timeframe associated to it.. doesn't it?

    Yea, I suppose I just thought yearly but everyone might have different needs. Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly (even a certain date). I would imagine after the time has expired the money would remain and be taken into account on a NEW Budget.

    Example:
    Business has different departments (Categories) and each department has a budget. Now maybe marketing doesn't need all there money so it could transfer to Engineering, so on and so forth but the MAIN budget number never changes unless you add money to it.

    I know I'm not explaining myself very well but I hope you understand what I'm shooting for. Budget would be great.
