How do I get the content statistics modules to stay on the expense manager pages after I start to apply filters?

You need to go to the Expense Manager options in the backend and set up the "Default Itemid" field.
you must type in here the ID (number) of the menu item that is containing your Expense Manager main view. do you know what I mean?

    By the way, on the field above the ID, says who can "entry" and should be who can "submit entries"
