no, this is not directly possible, it would require a bit of coding on the plugin to allow tracking of frontend edits.

Actually it turned out we just had to activate a parameter that was disabled.
I've just uploaded version 1.6.0 of the joomla articles plugin. if you download and install, you will start tracking frontend article edits too.
