We had to uninstall in a quick emergency this morning the stats modules when the site broke (a conflict, Doc man 1.5.9x) Is our stats data still somewhere in the database? and when we are able to upgrade to Doc Man 1.5.10x and reload Content Statistics it will pick back up? Here's hoping!

Ann

(J1.5.15 - we don't control the server so we're waiting on upgrade)

yes the stats are still there, don't worry.
they are stored on the table jos_content_statistics

what was the conflict? is it related to Content Statistics or is it external?

It was with Content Statistics, yes, it took down the site with php errors (fatal error with content statistics listed). (I did not record the exact errors)

It was directly related to Doc Man commercial 1.5.9x (which is not the latest for the 1.5x Joomla series, but we were nervous about loading the 1.5.10x version of Doc Man with the Joomla site - which we don't control - not being upgraded to 1.5.25. I had *just* upgraded from 1.5.2 non-commercial Doc Man and refreshed, and there were the errors.

So I'm glad the data will be there when we can upgrade both Doc Man and reinstall Content Statistics. Sorry I didn't save the error message, I saw the problem right away, uninstalled immediately.

    I see...

well this gets me a bit worried, I hadn't encountered this error before...
please if you find the error again, simply copy it and paste it here.
you probably don't need to uninstall the whole thing (don't panic!), simply unable the module
