Hi,
I am using content statistics and I am unclear about some of the value in the field.
1. Time zone used ( currently which timezone it is referring by default )
2. country , city ,state ( sometimes it shows correct city , but sometime it gives random value)
Please advise

01. the timezone is the one from your installation. there is the option to "adjust" it back or forth if necessary on the OPTIONS.
2. it's never random... it can be not 100% precise, but it's not random. that's the information the ipinfodb.com service provides.
The country is usually always right. the city can be unprecise depending on the location.. it's a free service, it's not 100% accurate in all the world's IPs. -

0Hello,
Sorry, what I ment is: the timezone used will be that defined in your joomla installation (global configuration). Sometimes, the server "changes" this timezone, and that's why we add the option to adjust the timezone stored in the system, by "adding" or "substrating" hours.
for example, if you notice that the time recorded is 3 hours more than it should be, you can simply "correct" this bias by setting the option "-3 hours" in the configuration..
do you know what I mean? does this answe your question?
