What is the difference in commisions?

Hello,
I have the extended version of affiliate tracker and I want to set a hierarchy system, kind of pyramid.

I don't understand the difference between the commission setting for Invoice nad for Ussers as I can see in this article:

Should I set both?
And why with different commisions?

    Hi,

    This is only if you're using Invoice Manager (you're not) and the joomla users plugin

    what extension do you want to track sales from?

    you can set it globaly in the VM plugin, and also individually in each affiliate account if you want
