I see that the affiliate link is the addition of a parameter (i.e. ?atid=1) to the homepage url, e.g. http://www.mysite.com/?atid=1
Does this mean that my affiliates could promote a specific sub-page of the website directly by taking the url and adding their parameter to the end? E.g., if their unique link is http://www.mysite.com/?atid=1, and they want to promote this page: http://www.mysite.com/our-services/this-service, can they post their affiliate link as http://www.mysite.com/our-services/this-service?atid=1 (with or without the final slash)?

I am asking because it would be useful for users to be able to point to a specific interesting or useful page directly (relevant to their post) instead of sending everyone to the homepage with their link. Can this be done already by users WITHOUT creating a "referral word" by simply adding their parameter to the url of an interesting sub-page of the same website? If yes, should they do it with or without the final slash before the question mark? My site does NOT add final slashes.
