Upgrading affiliate tracker 1.0.1 to newest version

Hi, is there documentation on upgrading affiliate tracker 1.0.1 to the latest version. I'm in the process of upgrading my Joomla 2.5 site to 3x version and wanted to see if you have a guide to upgrading the affiliate tracker. I wasn't sure if it would simple overwrite the files or if you have to unistall the original plugin etc. Also, I assume the 1.01 is not compatible with Joomla 3 correct. Please advise.

    you just need to subscribe to the latest version and install.

    correct, the version 1.0.1 is not compatible.

    no, the latest version is for 3.x.

    I don't understand this question, tho.. weren't you saying that you are upgrading to 3.x?

    we also have a 2.5 compatible version, yes, but it's not the "latest", it's a bit older. you can find it in our store.

    Sorry for the confusion. I'm not a developer, just trying to understand the process and the best way to upgrade to Joomla 3. The documentation I've read said to uninstall any plugins not compatible with Joomla 3. I was just trying to figure out if I need to uninstall the plugin, then install joomla 3, then install the new updated version of affiliate tracker or to just leave the plugin unpublished, then upgrade Joomla then upgrade affiliate tracker.

    you can just leave the plugin installed (if you want, unpublished), and then upgrade affilaite tracker.
