Hello,
I wanted to see how the Referral Word and Referral URL are supposed to work. I entered a referral word (Users name) and a referral URL (different link than the homepage.).
However, when I added a referral word, the affiliate link navigated to a 404 "Missing Page."
When I added a referral URL the affiliate link still navigated to the homepage.
Can you advise?
Thank you!

the referral word is used to point to an EXISTING page in the website.
for example if you use "affiliate" as a referral word, it means that the page:
www.yoursite.com/affiliate
already exists, and this link will simply point to it.
the Referral URL is used to make "all users coming from that URL" to be identified as "provided by that affiliate"
