yes we have an API that you can use however you want.

But in any case if you require us to create a custom plugin to hook up to a particular extension (alphauser points, whatever), it would have to be developed through our Custom Coding Service.

does that mean if i pay for custom coding you will not offer it in your marketplace in the future or to someone else?
