Hello,
I have purchased Affiliate Tracker, and the subsequent membership program Membership Pro in order to utilize the benefits of affiliate tracker on subscription plans put through the site that I have built. We have numerous subscription plans, all at various different price levels, all recurring subscriptions, and have affiliates that we need to integrate into the system and pay accordingly based on a percentage of each transaction.
I have installed and configured both Affiliate Tracker and OS Membership Pro, and have tested both. I have the associated plugins enabled (including the additional OS Membership Plugin), however the commissions are not being processed for the affiliates for the signups. I have tested this numerous times, and the only way I can get a commission to occur is if I set the Monetary value for user registration in the Users-Affiliate Tracker plugin. This is not going to work however for the system that we have as I cannot set one value to all transactions as there are many various transactions occurring at various different prices. I need the commissions based on the percentage of the transaction that has occurred, and this is why I purchased this program as I was under the impression that this could be done based on a commission per transaction/invoice, and was integrated with the membership program that I also purchased based on your information on your site.
Can you please inform me of what I need to do to manage this issue and generate the appropriate commissions for affiliates based on the transactions that are put through the site with Membership Pro. If this cannot be done, please let me know as I will need to look for something that can manage this appropriately asap.

our plugin OS Membership should do what you need, don't worry about this. theimpression you had is exactly right.
there must be some missconfiguration or some little thing missing, for the comissions not to be tracked.
I would need to see it myself to evaluate what could be causing this. is there a way you can provide me access? our email is support@ joomlathat.com
so, if I understood right, in your system the users actually "subscribe" to OS membership to get registered into the site? -

Thank you for your response. I have emailed you login details for the site. I am hoping this is a missconfiguration issue and easily fixed
. Yes - Members subscribe to a package through OS membership which integrates with Joomla to become registered during the subscription process rather than having to register for the site after purchasing the subscription.

Thank you for your help. The affiliates are now receiving the percentage based on the transactions that are put through the site. Can I ask what files you have changed and whether these need to be monitored in future updates in-case they are overwritten? I need to transfer this now to the live site.
Another question - does this track per invoice or just per payment? These are all subscriptions and therefore the affiliates need to be paid a commission based on per invoice. I realise your PayPlans feature does this with payments per invoice rather than transaction, but does this work for the PayPal integrated feature? Or is this a requirement of custom code?

The file I have changed is /plugins/osmembeship/affiliates/affiliates.php
what I will do is to include this modification into our official release for everyone to us.
this tracks "per subscription", not per invoice.
I think you may be a little confused when you ask about the "PayPal integrated feature". this has nothing to do with it, actually. I mean, I guess you're refering to "recurring" subscriptions, which are binded to recurring payments in PayPal. is that right?
what you want is new comissions to be assigned when recurring payments, on OS membership, are made? -

Yes that's correct - I want to apply commissions to the recurring payments through OS membership rather than on signups. My apologies the reading on the forum was regarding PayPlans and the invoice feature hence I made the link to PayPal.

Can you please give me a quote and timeline on the work involved to change the plugin? I thought from the reading on the affiliate site before I purchased it, that this was capable of managing subscription based affiliates with invoicing the trigger, as this is what I need since everything is a subscription on the site. If not, I am going to need this done please, as soon as possible.

0Thank you Germinal for your response via email regarding coding the subscription trigger for OS Membership.
Unfortunately due to the cost I am unable to take this up. I am disappointed as I had anticipated that the program was able to deal with subscriptions as well as initial sign ups, and will need to either code this myself or look elsewhere for an affiliate program. Thank you for your help to date getting the plugin to actually register a conversion with the OS membership registration. For now I will have to just use this and manually add conversions for subscription renewals until I find a solution that is within a price range I can afford.
