Hello. Where do you actually define what the item(s) are to be tracked? For example, as a new affiliate, I create an account and want to get commission by linking back to the merchant's site. Who chooses this type of conversion, the affiliate or the merchant, and where?
Also, is there a repository for ads that a merchant can have available to their affiliates to use for link backs?
Thanks

Hello,
1. Yes. the conversion types actually do not depend on the affiliates: they are there for all them.
2. not at the moment. we're preparing one but it's not ready yet. but you can find many, many screenshots, to at least get a feel of it, in our Affiliate Tracker info page.
3. yes, of course. as a matter of fact, "turning the comssion to money" is a thing you do manually (you create a payment for them, and you pay them.. IF YOU WANT!). so yes, there's absolutely no problem in doing what you describe.

0Hello!
The "type" of conversion is something that the MERCHANT defines, not the affiliate. for example, a conversion type could be a "sale on the store". it's the MERCHANT who decides to reward the affiliates for that type of actions.
how does he do that? well, using our plugins (which offers integration with many components), or using our API in case he wants to apply a conversion to another action not supported by our plugins out of the box.
About the repository for ads: not directly, that's something you have to build (for example, in an article, which your affiliates will be able to access to download marketing material) -

0Thanks Germinal. A couple more questions -
1. As the merchant, can I have multiple conversion types selected for a single account for an affiliate?
2. Is there a demo of the admin site of Affiliate Tracker?
3. If I want to be able to have the affiliate redeem their commission for credit in our store, can I simply mark their commission as redeemed, manually debit their balance, then do whatever I need to do on my end for the credit? So instead of actually issuing their payment via Paypal, I want to issue it in a manual manner but still debit their commission.
