Can I allow visitors to apply for affiliate account without them having to be a registered user?
I am using a redirect plugin from MembershipPro that redirects anyone trying to register for a free account to the MembershipPro component so they can subscribe to the site.
This obviously may not work for those looking to sign up for affiliate program and don't necessarily want a subscription. Any idea how I can get around this?

0The redirect is in place as more of spam protection than anything else really. We are experiencing a lot of spam so I decided to redirect all potential members to the subscription page.
The only other thing I could think of is to create a generic inquiry form that allowed the submission to indicate their interest in the program. If approved, I suppose I could add them manually as a registered user? -
