Import all your music with 1 click

Starting with Music Collection 2.4, we have introduced a most wanted feature that will allow you to import all your files into Music Collection... with just one click!

The process is very simple: on the backend, you will find the "scan folder" option.

The system will present you a list of available folders and files (which you will have uploaded previously using FTP). Browse until you find the folder you want to import. The system will present you three main importing options:

 With the new function Process folders and subfolders using ID3 tags, you will be able to import not only the selected folder, but also all its subfolders recursively, to make sure that all files contained are imported!

In other words, this will permit you to import your whole library with just one click, if you want to.

To avoid exhausting the server's capabilities, in case of a very big library, the whole process is handled with recursive AJAX calls that will import actually one folder at a time, and the system will inform you of what's the current status of importation, telling you what is the current folder being imported, how many there are left to import, or what's the global percentage of completion:

Also, the system will avoid to import files that are already in the system. This means that if you add just one file to a folder, you can still re-scan the whole folder, and only the new file will be added. When the process is finished, the system will inform you with a message:
