Configuring the ZOO plugin

In some installations, you will notice that the Zoo plugin for Content Statistics doesn't display any data in the modules.

If this happens, it means you need to add a little extra information into the module options.

In the field "Extra filters", you need to specify what type of Zoo content you want to display data for. Zoo content has a "type" associated to them. By default its "article", but it can have a different value if you create your own instances of Zoo.

How to know what is the "type" of my Zoo content?

If you don't know it, the easiest way to find out is looking into your DB. Open the table #__zoo_item and see what's the value of the field type.

Finally you just need to input this information in the module parameters. If your type is "books", for example, you will input type=books in the Extra Filters field, like in the screenshot below:
