Issue with invoices not sending

I hope this is the way I am supposed to get support on your product.

I have Invoice Manager 2.0.0 running on Joomla 3.4.8. The server is with Siteground.com and is running php 5.6.18.

I've checked the forum and seen as many of the email issues as I can find. I am trying to setup invoice manager to send from my portal website for my clients. I have configured the joomla global settings and have tested with "Mass Mail" that it CAN send with the SMTP settings. That works. I've tried several SMTP settings both secure and insecure methods and they all work from Joomla.

I also tested the emails from the webmail for that specific email and I can send to the email address that fails within Invoice Manager. So, the email at my host is successfully sending correctly.

When I try to either select an invoice and hit "send" at top or just click the "send email" under the actions column at the end, it does not send the email. I get the following error:

SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: name@domain.com (note: not the real email it is trying to send to)

I also get a message right below that that it was successful in sending the email to that recipient. So, something in the code seems to be thinking it worked to produce that successful notice.

I need to resolve this as I need to be able to send out emails to my client automatically when it is generated. I can make it work, but it is harder on me since I have to send emails outside the mail system. The payment emails may also not go out either.

    hello

    please send me access to the site so I can take a look (at support@ joomlathat.com).. it's weird that you're getting this issue, because Invoice Manager uses the same email methods as the joomla email system...

    Did you fix the problem? I have the same. I need to fix it. I do not know where to start looking.
